Changes to crossbow training

We are introducing a new systems for training for people who wish to learn the art of the Arbalist.

We will now be running an introduction to crossbow,

L1 training

This will be a 1 session  course lasting 1 1/2 hours and its aim is to get people shooting as quickly as possible, using 90lb re-curve crossbows at 10 metres.

After this has been completed the shooter will be able to hire a 90lb crossbow and shoot at 10 metres distance or take part events.

 

L2 Training

This will be a 1 session  course lasting 1 1/2 hours and its aim is to introduce people to the law around crossbows and some of the different types of re-curve crossbows up to 150lbs in draw weight. It will show people how to put them together, shoot them safely at up to 18 metres, the bows used for this will be the kodabow (125lbs) Jandao (150lbs) and Excalibur apex (90lbs). We will also introduce people to telescopic sights. We will also go over taking down thee Butts

 

L3 Training

This will be a 1  session  course lasting 1 1/2 hours and its aim is to introduce people to compound crossbows at 18 metres and beyond, We will also go over how to re-serve a centre serving The bows used will be the Armex ( 185lb) Barnett recruit (135lbs) Barnett junior (100lbs) and Barnett Junior 60lbs these all have telescopic sights.
